Cigar Care & Storage

When it comes to cigars it is important to keep in mind two very important factors while in storage: HUMIDITY & TEMPERATURE

HUMIDITYMost cigars require a humidity range of 65% - 70% to keep them preserved and at their fullest potential. Too little humidity and you risk cracks, but too wet and you risk mold or cigars that just fall apart.

TEMPERATURE: 65 ℉- 70 ℉ is the ideal range for cigars as too hot or too cold can degrade the tobacco and compromise your experience.

How can I juggle that demand?

The best option is via a humidor of sorts. Your first thought may be of a big almost minif-fridge looking device or the large room sized walk-ins at your local tobacconist.

Lucky for you there are plenty of options from travel size all the way up to private collector size.

How are we at Safari Cigar Helping Beginners?

At Safari Cigar we also offer with our sample boxes complimentary humidity packs, and when we ship our products they will include humidity control packs to ensure that during travel mold or dry rot is minimized.
